Who are we?
Most importantly – we are students! On top of that, we represent the entire student body of the University of Łódź (pursuant to the Law on Higher Education and Science) – which comes with great responsibility.
The Student Government can be an adventure, a challenge, and a space where you can pursue your passions, bring your ideas to life, showcase your creativity, and gain hands-on experience that no regular classes or internships can match.
Our roots date back to Poland's democratic transition, as we were established when the Higher Education Act came into force in 1990.
The University Student Government Council of the University of Łódź (URSS UŁ) is the executive and legislative body of the Student Government at the university level. Along with many other university-wide responsibilities, it collaborates with and supports faculty student councils, as well as allocates funding dedicated to student government activities across the entire University.
